The wine list holds gems from around the country and the globe, both vintage and new, carefully chosen by our Sommelier Giuliano Barbera.
The menu is modern Australian, with influences from the Mediterranean and surrounding areas carefully designed by our Head Chef Jerome Lorieux.
All ingredients are cooked from scratch in house, the meat is of the highest quality from local
producers, the fish delivered whole and fresh daily and the Cheeses are sourced from the finest farms
locally and internationally.
From the exotic indoor archways and marble tables to the handpicked staff, the carefully chosen wines and the fresh food menu, we will certainly exceed your expectations.
There are four different dining areas, including a private dinning area, three different menu’s, and
certainly the most passionate team led by Jad Khoury, to run all of this.

John Ayoub, one of two founding members of The Emporium, began his career in hospitality over 25 years ago. It was a simple dream of bringing quality roasted coffee beans to areas in need of superb coffee.
Many years later through the success of over 20 cafe’s carefully placed around Sydney, it is time for John to move onto the second part of

John has been based around Parramatta for years and feels it is long overdue for a great venue to open. A venue one might find in Sydney’s CBD, Potts Point or Surry Hills, where people flock to on a daily basis in search of quality. You won’t find John in the office pushing the pen, you’ll find this family man in the corner of this Restaurant toasting a big full Red Wine suggesting cheeses to his friends.
Astute business man and entrepreneur, Sam has over 25 years’ experience in the franchising and service industries. Sam success and track record speaks for itself. A motivated and extraordinary leader in his early days in franchising giving him and insight and perspective in growing, operating and building great brands such as The Coffee Emporium.
“I’ve been in the game for a while now and seeing the potential in this NEW concept – The Emporium, was not difficult. I believe our success is: Passion, focus and drive. If we were in this to make a quick dollar we would of failed years ago. What we’re doing is just displaying commitment and love for what we do so well, Ultimately what you focus on is what you achieve!”
Completing a winning formula, it’s behind the scenes where Sam makes his magic happen but if you see his face around the venue, it’ll be an espresso before midday and a big Barossa Shiraz after.
Jerome was born to be a Head Chef. He watched his family as they successfully established themselves in the Restaurant and Hospitality industry. He naturally followed their passion, and passion he has. Having left France almost 20 years ago, Jerome moved to England to learn English and establish himself as a chef.
Jerome landed his first position as Head Chef in Norway, where he had the great honour of cooking for the Nobel Peace Prize Banquet. Through the years he moved on and found himself in Russia, where he established his own Restaurant, and became TV host and Culinary Consultant for Russia’s Hell’s Kitchen.
“My ultimate dream was to work in Australia because it is so versatile. I had the opportunity of working alongside Alla Wolf-Tasker at Lakehouse, which helped me establish myself here. The Emporium is a unique venue, full of life and big opportunities. I want to share my passion for food with Parramatta.”
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Jad has always been at the forefront of hospitality. After many years of leading some of Europe and The Middle East’s biggest names, Jad’s love for Bars and Restaurants is shown through his passionate approach here at The Emporium.
Being one of the founding members of the Belgium restaurant chains Le Pain Quotidien Australia, Jad has brought excessive knowledge, and a strong operational background to lead our winning team.
“When Sam and John approached me, I didn’t have to think twice. After being involved with the very first architectural drawings, right up until opening our doors, I knew this is where I needed to be. The unique concept of the Emporium was the perfect venue for me to implement all of my experience and knowledge in Coffee, Food and Wine. There’s always something new and exciting to work on, and the boys are always open to big ideas”.
